At Moni’s Cakes, baking isn’t just a profession; it’s my passion. As per the founder “Moni”, baking isn’t merely about creating delicious treats; it’s about crafting experiences that tantalise the taste buds and leave lasting memories.
My enthusiasm for baking stems from a desire to provide more than just cakes; it’s about offering tempting, designer, and healthy creations to all. Each cake that leaves my kitchen is a reflection of this commitment.
My journey into the world of baking began with a childhood filled with creativity and a natural knack for experimentation. Even as a young girl, I found myself drawn to the kitchen, eager to explore the endless possibilities that lay within the world of baking. Through years of dedication and hard work, I transformed my childhood fascination into a thriving business, establishing Moni’s Cakes in November 2020 as a beacon of quality, creativity, and passion in the world of baking.

Moni's Journey
I remember flipping through the newspaper pages, searching for that perfect cake recipe to try out. It was like a treasure hunt, finding hidden gems among the headlines. As I grew older, my passion for creativity only intensified, leading me to pursue a degree in Mass Communication. However, despite my academic pursuits, I soon realised that my true calling lay elsewhere.
Gradually, I came to understand that Mass Communication was not my cup of tea, and that my heart belonged in the kitchen, where I could unleash my creativity and passion to create something truly magical. Armed with this newfound clarity, I embarked on a journey to pursue my lifelong passion for baking. With determination and a relentless pursuit of excellence, I honed my skills, experimenting with flavours, textures, and techniques to create cakes that not only looked stunning but also tasted divine.
Behind every successful person lies a story of unwavering support, and I am blessed to have the most incredible people by my side. My husband, Anup Ghosh, has been my rock from the very beginning, encouraging me to pursue my passion for baking and believing in my dreams even when I doubted myself. His endless love, patience, and belief in me have been the driving force behind every sweet success.
And my dear son, Shivom Ghosh, his boundless enthusiasm and unwavering faith in my abilities inspire me every day to reach for the stars. From eagerly taste-testing my creations to cheerfully lending a helping hand in the kitchen, he reminds me that the greatest joys in life are found in the simplest moments shared with loved ones.
Together, we’ve turned my baking hobby into a thriving business, and I am forever grateful for their unwavering support, love, and encouragement. They are not just my family; they are my all-time backbone, my source of strength, and my greatest blessings.
